I went to 6 Flags with Christina from David Beahm and a Giraffe totally made out with the car.

I love Cookshop

I don't know how it took me so long to go to Cookshop. Christina took me for brunch, and it was amazing. I can't wait to go back.

Pina Bausch RIP

I was first exposed to Pina Bausch in 2002 and loved it. I am not a huge fan of dance or theater for that matter. Pina's work is so compelling however that whenever I saw she was in town I would get tickets.

I was sad to see that she died yesterday. I was looking forward to seeing her create new work.

God's Love We Deliver's 10,000,000th Meal with Joan Rivers

God's Love we deliver celebrated the delivery of their 10 millionth meal yesterday. Joan Rivers was the guest of honor after her Celebrity Apprentice win. She raised over $500,000 from the show. At the event John Dempsey and Blaine Trump presented Joan with a check for $250,000 from the MAC aids fund.

Upon getting the check Joan said that she was going to change her name to God's Love We Deliver and skip town.

Many people came out to witness the occasion including Anna Wintour, a long time supporter of Gods Love.


The group went downstairs to the kitchen to pack the 10,000,000th meal.

Joan took interviews throughout the day, including while delivering the meal to a nearby client.


My favorite moment of the day was in the stairwell of the clients building. Someone asked Joan who made her sunglasses.

"ME" she replied "Always wear yourself."

After the delivery Joan posed with Roz a volunteer who has been with the organization since 1991.

Herding Cats

I was in a meeting today and someone said "it's like herding cats."

I had never heard that expression before and I nearly fell out of my chair.

I was looking for an image of cat herding to send to the person who said it and stumbled on this video.
