CFDA Party at Bergdorf Goodman

I shot the CFDA party at Bergdorf last night. Being Fashion week it was packed with people. I saw some people that I had not seen in a while. It was good to catch up. I also bumped in to a woman that I worked with 10 years ago.

Leah and Jason's Wedding

I shot Leah and Jason's wedding yesterday. They are an adorable couple. They had a very small wedding on labor day. They had the ceremony and reception at Monteverde at Oldstone Manor.
The venue was great, and the food was excellent. The view is magnificent. The property is on a bluff overlooking the Hudson River.

This couple was so funny because they were so obviously happy and in love. I always play my role by ear. Different couples want a different level of involvement from me and I can sense what that is. I never ask the couple to pose. I will ask them to look at me at times during the day, say when they are cutting the cake. If I don't then I get a shot of the top of their heads. Other then the few moments like that I let the couple do their thing and I follow them around.

These too were so in love that they hit all of the classic wedding poses naturally. The funny thing is that it works because it was organic for them. These two were kissing the entire day. I had to refrain from yelling "Hey you two, get a room!" Partly because I knew they had a suite booked at the venue, and I didn't want to loose them to it.
These two were so cute and obviously in love, it was hard to narrow it down to these few images.
