David Beahm Anniversary Party

Click here, or on the image below to see the album from the David Beahm Design party on Friday night.

It was a great time. I loved the milk shakes, and TINY burgers. Where do they get the tiny hamburger buns?

All the images from the party will be on pictage in a couple of days. There are some great ones that did not make it into the album. To see everything go to www.pictage.com/426821 and register. You will be notified when the pictures are up. If you register before the pictures are posted you will get a gift certificate that's good for a couple of prints.

It was great to see everyone relaxing and having a good time. David has a hard working crew and they deserved the break.

I can't wait for the 20th anniversary party.

David Beahm Anniversary Collage Page

Last night David Beahm celebrated 10 years in business with, what else, a pool party.

It was super chic to have a pool party
in midtown, in January. There was caviar, champagne, and bikinis. For a taste see the collage below.

It was great to see people I worked with years ago. David has created a great company through LOTS of hard work. No one deserves success more then he does. It was nice to see him unwind and have fun at a party instead of working.

David, Mazel Tov and more great decades of fun, laughter and success.

The album from the party will be online on Wednesday, so check back.

If you are in Soho go to Hampton Chutney

I was running errands and ended up in Soho. I stopped in to Hampton Chutney on Prince St. I have been there before. I had the seasonal special dosa (it is giant crispy crepe) with mushrooms, butternut squash, jack cheese, arugula, avocado and I think crack cocaine. It is amazing. I can't wait to go back and have another one.

I love this Green Tea

I am a fan of green tea. I don't drink coffee, or regular tea that often. I decided to try different green teas and I fell in love with this one.

It is called Genmai Cha. It is warm, light, and nutty in flavor. It is made from green tea leaves, toasted and popped brown rice and sometimes matcha (another green tea in powdered form.)

I get it from www.japanesegreenteaonline.com. They blend it with matcha and it adds something to it.

I started looking for Japanese green tea cause I found out that it has more health benefits then green tea from China. Also it is the type used in most studies that tell us how great green tea is. My only exposure to green tea was in Chinese restaurants. This was totally different and much better.

I found Japanese green tea light, grassy and smooth. It wasn't at all bitter. There are a couple of tricks to make it properly.
  • Let the water cool for 4-5 minutes. The water needs to be hot, but not boiling. Letting it cool for a few minutes does the trick.
  • Brew the tea for 1-4 minutes. Leaving it in longer will make it bitter. I brew a bunch and then put it in a thermos
That's all it takes. When you read about the beneficial effects on the Japanese they talk about how people drink like 5 cups a day. It seems like a lot, but when made properly it is really nice to drink.

Enjoy!

Hot Paul came over and we finished his site

So Saturday was my birthday and Hot Paul ended up coming over and we finished his site.

Now I have made a effort to keep this site very "shirts on". For some reason though Hot Paul seems to always be photographed without a shirt on. Saturday was no exception.

As we were working upstairs, Sam was downstairs working. After a couple of hours I needed a break and a giggle. I talked Hot Paul in to Shanghi-ing Sam with a lapdance. He reluctantly agreed (it was my birthday after all.)

I blasted some saucy music and Hot Paul sexily descended the stairs in his skivvies. We all had a giggle as Hot Paul wiggled it to Sensual Seduction by Snoop Dogg.

Of course I busted out the camera. Here are the two of them after all the shenanigans.

Hot Paul, pull it back on the tanning bro, you are starting to blend with the sofa.

The Tingler Has Landed!

A few years ago Sam's friend Jeremy from Australia rolled into town and he busted out with this little copper thing that looked like a wire claw. He called it "The Orgasmatron". I love how subtle the Australians are, but he wasn't wrong. We have the same thing stateside, only we call it "The Tingler".

Fast forward to a couple of months ago. I was having dinner with Carolyn and we were chatting about what favors she should get for a naughty themed party she was doing. I thought of the tingler and immidately we got up from the table and ran out to get one. Actually I think we were at 'inoteca so we leisurely finished a fantastic meal and then sauntered next door to Toys in Babeland. Either way we got a Tingler.

The Tingler made its debut at that party and was a hit. It feels fantastic and the fact that there was a male model at the other end didn't hurt the Tingler's popularity either.

The Tingler has made a couple of appearances since that first party and each have been a hit.

So tonight I found myself with Sam and a friend at 'inoteca finishing a fantastic meal and wouldn't you know it, there was some sauntering to Babeland, and before I could stop myself I had a Tingler in one hand and my debit card in the other.

Although it was way more expensive (over twice to be exact) at Babeland then on Amazon. I am glad I have it. If you do get one, and you need to, go on Amazon. They have one that vibrates, but that might be too much.

Jamie and Susan's Engagement Album

Here is a shot from Jamie and Susan's engagement album. Click on it to see the album showcase.

I love this product

I know that this it totally random, but here goes.  I love this product and recommend it to anyone with teeth.
They make a couple of kinds, whitening and tarter control.  The floss is shred resistant and has a toothpaste like coating.  As you floss it is like you are brushing in between your teeth.  It is a little pricey, but once you try it you will be hooked.   I have found that it is great for getting bits of Truffle Buttered Pop Corn out of your teeth.

Your dentist will love you.  Enjoy.

Paul and his girlfriend stopped by

My friend Paul and his girlfriend Nina stopped by yesterday.

I am helping Paul revamp his website www.paulmarron.com. I gave Paul a nickname a long time ago and it has stuck. The name is Hot Paul. He does alot of fitness modeling, and well, you need to be hot to do that. The funny thing about when I give a nickname is that it is frequently not the best thing for a first impression.

Like this one time Hot Paul came over for a Bar B Que and I introduced him around. He is pretty modest (funny for a guy that makes his living in his underwear) so I made the effort to call him by his actual name in that instance. I found myself saying "Oh Michelle, this is my friend H- Paul, I mean Paul, this is my friend Paul."

Later, undoubtedly Michelle, or whoever it was would pull me aside and say "Your friend Paul is Hot."

"Tell me something I don't know."

Susan and Jamie's Engagement Party

Susan and Jamie had their engagement party last night. Carolyn Bender threw it at her house and the food was delicious.

Jamie's family was there in force and Susan's Scarsdale family came out to celebrate as well. Here are some shots from the great party.

It was good to meet Jamie. He is a total mensch; laid back and honest, I can see why the two of them are together. It was a great night, I am looking forward to the wedding.

The album design will be up soon, so check back.

I am shooting Susan and Jamie's engagement party on Saturday night. I have know Susan for a while now and am looking forward to meeting Jamie. Susan is a real firecracker and she gets away with talking alot of smack cause she has a British accent.

I am interested to see what Jamie is like. I will have a collage page on Sunday so tune in to see a recap of the antics.

New Year's Eve Party

Happy New Year!!

I hope you had a great time last night, I know I did. I shot a great New Year's Eve party.

It was a party in a private home in Westchester. Carolyn Bender was the planner and caterer. She did a great job with the food and tent. The party was intimate and lots of fun. They had
Asi Wind (a magician) perform. He did tricks for small groups throughout the night, and then had a show for all the guests. He is amazing. He makes things move around without touching them, he reads minds and even did a card trick over the phone!

This party was out of control. There was caviar paired with a bunch of different vodkas, great music by and DJ Eddie Stuart and tons of Champagne.

Have a safe and happy 2008!
