50 Cent Book Party at Phillipe

I shot the launch of the new 50 Cent book 50x50 at Phillipe last night for WWD. The book is very cool. It has lots of features like pictures you can pull out and a CD. The party was pretty relaxed. Mostly press/PR and a couple of swimsuit models (female of course).

50 was nice. He hung out and did interviews in black hat with shiny sliver letters that spelled Curtis on it.

There was a signed copy on every seat. I grabbed a couple on my way out. It is never to early to think about holiday gifts.

The food was great and the staff was very sweet. The staff at all the Mr. Chow restaurants are always so nice and accommodating, especially since I am a vegetarian. Thanks guys.

Hillary Clinton Fundraiser

I shot a fundraiser last night for Hillary Clinton at a private home. The speaker was President Clinton. It was an amazing night. I have been around lots of celebs and I have never experienced anything like this.

The anticipation was palpable. The Secret Service, and the police were there well before and that added to the excitement. Once he got there the mood shifted. It got very serious. Everyone got in line and was focused on getting their photo taken with the former President.

After the meet and greet he spoke for a couple of hours. It was interesting to hear his thoughts on things. This job has some amazing moments and this was high up on the list.

They served Greyston Bakery brownies for desert. A former President and brownies to boot!
